Could you tell us about the formation of the group?

I had been in a load of bands and none really worked either musically or commitment issues. So over summer around three years ago I wrote a load of songs and tried out a couple of drummers and it didnt really work I stuck with a lame student looking guy for a couple of gigs and at one of those gigs Ben had come back from University and it clicked

You have chosen to call BROWN BROGUES! !Can you explain this name?

Sure, I love the song 'I aint no miracle worker' by the brogues and I loved that name but we talked about it and couldnt get away with stealing it so tried a few out including 'Night of Living Sickness' and 'Bare Knuckle Boxers' and we came back to Brogues then Brown Brogues as it still sounded like a garage band but not stealing.

Plus Brown Brogue shoes look cool.

How does the composition of labor within the group?

I sing and play guitar and Ben Drums and sings

What is the craziest thing that you see during a show ?

We've seen a lot of disgusting things at shows..lots of fights and puking played a show in bordeaux and a guy there had his ass out throughout the whole thing..dont know why

but the most surprising....

At our first album launch I saw a couple going at it in the front row.

Whilst in chicago playing a mexican dive bar in the middle of winter 3 feet of snow a full mariachi band tried to get into the venue and come and play

 

If you had the choce between three concerts:

-A concert for penguins on the ice

-A concert at the Stade de France and empty in the rain

-A concert for the club domino Loudeac dadyday with vocals

Which do you choose?

I dont know what the last one means but I'd say penguins on ice

What is your dream in music?

To do it as a job and play all over the world put out loads of records and slowly self destruct...Nothing Major

What is your actuality?

Alot of work not much sleep but trying to make it look easy
