Sean est le premier Sup Rider du blog et pas le dernier!il vit en floride et voyage pour participer aux étapes du Stand Up World Tour et il serait motivé pour venir taquiner le skate slalom sur nos belles îles bretonnes!
When and where did you arrive on earth?
I arrived on this fine
earth July 5th 1989 at a Cincinnati Hospital in the great state of Ohio.

Could you descibe in few
words?
Exciting, refreshing,
oxygen, life. That's describing my birth in a few words.

When did you started Supriding?
I started Supriding July
2009. It was in my second hometown of Fernandina Beach, Florida. I was so psyched that I was introduced to it there in Florida because it made the flat summer months way more enjoyable to get in
the ocean.

Why do you like sup?
SUP is just another way to get out on the water, and being on the water is what I love. Aside from that though SUP is a challenge and it's a new way of riding waves, it's awesome.

Where do you live and is it a good place to make Sup?
I currently live in San
Diego, California. Yea for sure it's a good spot to SUP because there are so many waves and down here. There also really spread out so you can pick and choose from a lot of spots. SUP is also
really popular here in Southern California which makes it that much better, because you get to see all the different boards and riders doing there thing.
You are on the sup world tour! What is your best result?
Yea.. the World Tour,
it's a lot fun. Some great venues this year, my favorites Tahiti, Hawaii, and France. Love France, ate so much bread over there, thought I was going to turn into a baguette. I loved it. My best
result on tour was a 3rd at the last event of the season, Hawaii Finals, I had a 4th over there in France too.

www.ronangladu.com very good photographe from brittany
What do you think about this tour?
The tour is great. It's a bunch of like minded individuals out there giving it there all, performing and promoting the sport. The tour has given me some of the best experiences in my life so far. What's great about the tour too is that it's still very new so there are many improvements to come, as it's just a continuous effort to make each event better than the last.

Look this diaporam about Molène Island Slalom, there is SUP riding!
What is your best contest that you participated and why?
France. Like I mentioned earlier, I love me some banquettes, Ha.. na it was my first time in France, a place that I always wanted to go, the architecture, the food, the people's mentality, just the love of life you guys have over there is what made it great for me. I'm all about the experiences and I had a bunch over there in France. The waves were really fun too which made it all the better. Most importantly though it was the crowd in the water that made the trip. All the young riders I saw in the water there got me super psyched. That's the main reason I'm an athlete in the sport, because I want to introduce it to the world, to promote it, and seeing all that youth in the water over there just said to me that this sport is growing exactly where it needs to be.

Do you often ride skateboards?
I don't ride skateboards
much.. I used to a lot when I lived in Florida but I put the board up, didn't need the injuries from it. There is a sick skate park right next to my house so it's kinda hard to completely leave
it though, I'll sneak over there sometimes and ride the bowl.

Island Slalom Tour is a series of skateboarding contests on tiny french islands where nobody has ever skated! We are as Captain cook at Hawaii in 1600! Except we have now motor boats and concrete
roads... What do you think about this?
Uhhmm.. Does anyone show up for the contests..Haha. Your innovators, conquerers, I like it. Yea I think thats great. Now lets get a stand up paddling series going there.
During the contest, I put my SUP!for exemple during the contest at Molène! You can go on the spot only with SUP or Kayak!
What is your biggest Wipe Out?
Biggest wipe out wasn't
exactly a wipeout but more of a steam roller. It was out at Pipe back in 07 for the Feb 15th swell. I was at second reef when all of a sudden massive sets started pouring in off second. Ended up
jumping too late to go under a big one and it just knocked me. Took the air out of me and pushed me deep for a long time, thought I was about done when I started to feel tingles across my body
and still deep then when I thought I was about to pass out it let me up.

One morning, you wake up ,You arrive in your kitchen and suddenly, you see a genius in wetsuit! He say:” Hey Mister, I can offer you 2 magic gifts! What do you want?
I'd like a pair wings so
I can fly.. And the next is probably his wetsuit because I'm sure it embodies some type of powers.

What do you think about Brittany?
Really cool. Country.
Simple. Find a girl and I'll call that vacation.

How would you define a good session ?
One that you land a
bunch of maneuvers that you've been working on. Also being famished by the end of it, so you can come in and eat big.

Do you have sponsors?
Yup Starboard and FCS

What is your device?
Right now my main device is Starboards 2012 7'7"x27". It rips. Go get you one.

A last Word ?
Send me the entry form for the next Slalom Island Tour event. I'm there.
