Holly est une kite urfeuse pro qui a appris le kite dans l'eau froide et maintenant qui suit le circuit PKRA depuis 3 ans et avec déjà quelques podiums à son actif!Elle a toujours le sourire et encore plus quand elle répond au blog de l island slalom tour!

When and where did you arrive ON earth?

I was born in Glasgow Scotland on the 2nd of March 1991.

 

When did you started kite surfing?

3 and a half years ago 

 

Where do you live and is it a good place to make kitesurf?

I live on the west coast of Scotland and yes there are many amazing places to kitesurf  :)

 

What happens to your kiting career?

I am competing on the British, European and World championships alongside traveling and training having fun!

 

What is your biggest Wipe Out?

One time my right back line caught the hook of my harness and kept looping and dragging me offshore! I did not see that the line was hooked so I pulled my safety but it did not help! Eventually my kite is the water and I was able to do a self rescue!

 

What is your best souvenir when travelling ?

My Macbook Pro laptop.

One morning, you wake up ,You arrive in your kitchen and suddenly,you see a genius in wetsuit! He say:” Hey Miss, I can offer you 2 magic gifts! What do you want?

I would love for this to happen! One thing would be to have the magical power to just click my fingers transferring me to my place of choice. Another would be to possibly have the power to go back and or forward in time.

 

Do you often ride skateboards?

Sometimes, not that often but I would really like to get into it more :)

 

Island Slalom Tour is a series of skateboarding contests on tiny french islands where nobody has ever skated! We are as Captain cook at Hawaii in 1600! Except we have now motor boats and concrete roads... What do you think about this?

Do you know brittany and the goods spots ?

I have heard of the place but I have never been.

 

How would you define a good session ?

Consistant wind perfect for 9m kite, sun shining, butter flat water or slick waves with flat longish intersections :)

 

What other sports do you partake in?

Gymnastics, snowboarding and wakeboarding.

 

Do you know paté henaff?

I know what pate is but not sure about the henaff part?

If you were stranded on a desert island that already has a plentiful resource of kitesurf and sails what three things would you bring?

Water, Suncream, bikini. 

 

What is the best spot in Japan?!

No idea!? I have never been there and not many people talk about it as a kitesurfing destination. However. I guess there would be some interesting spots there!
